Veterinary Assistant/ Receptionist

Ailany wanted to get into the veterinary field to earn hands-on experience and skills that will help her for her future goals. It has been her childhood dream to be a part of a veterinary team and she is finally living it. She’s thankful that I was giving to chance to show my determination, curiosity, and excitement to be a part of the team.

Ailany’s hobbies are playing video games, taking care of and playing with her three cats, and coloring. Her interests are hanging out with friends and family, traveling, and food. Her family consists of her mom and sister, and her three cats. The rest of her family lives in Puerto Rico.

Ailany attending Hillsborough Community College at the moment, pursuing an Associates Degree in Pre-Veterinary Medicine. She is also attending Penn Foster College to achieve a certificate in Veterinary Assistant.

Her long-term personal goal is to be able to own a house and her professional goal is to get into vet school. Short-term goals at the moment are being able to complete college and earn her associate and certificate, and becoming a veterinary technician.
